March Madness for Missions.
We encourage you to share this information with any individual, church, or youth group that might be interested in March Madness and supporting
Free Will Baptist missions.
How to participate:
Step 1.
To register for the tournament, Submit a
$25 Individual Bracket Entry Donation.
*One per person.*
**Missionaries themselves may register for one free bracket.**
100% of the money raised goes directly to missions.
Step 2.
As soon as you submit your $25 Donation,
you will be emailed a link to
create a March Madness Bracket Account.
CHECK YOUR EMAIL!
Step 3.
Using your account, fill out a bracket between
6 PM EST, Sunday, March 12.
and
12:15 PM EST, Thursday, March 16.
In your bracket you will be asked to select one NAFWB missionary/family that you want your bracket to represent.
If your bracket wins the tournament then your selected missionary will win a prize (see below.)
You yourself cannot win anything from competing in March Madness For Missions.
100% of the money raised will go directly to missionaries.
Step 4.
Enjoy March Madness knowing your previously pointless knowledge of free-throw statistics is finally serving an eternal purpose!
What happens with the funds?
$10 will be automatically sent to your selected missionary at the end of the tournament.
$15 will be put into a pool and distributed to the missionaries in the following manner:
Of the pooled funds...
the 1st Place bracket missionary will earn 1/2,
the 2nd Place bracket missionary will earn 1/4,
the 3rd Place bracket missionary will earn 1/8,
and the remaining 1/8 will be split evenly among the other selected missionaries.
If you would like to donate to the pooled funds without entering a bracket, you may do so here .
*A missionary can only win one of the top three prizes. (e.g. if the first and second place brackets are both designated for the same missionary, then the next different winning missionary will receive the 2nd place prize.)
*Winnings will be distributed to the missionaries' ministry accounts at the conclusion of the tournament.
